STAM Late? First Thursday of every month!
When visiting the city of Ghent, a little trip to the Ghent City Museum is a real must! Discover what the city has to offer and submerge yourself into the city’s fascinating past and present. The nocturne of the museum is the ideal opportunity to combine your visit with a night out or an evening stroll through the city, grabbing a bite on-the-go…without having to hurry.
On July 1st, STAM stays open until 10 p.m. so you don't have to choose, you can combine it all for a unique and unforgettable day! Come and enjoy ‘The Story of Ghent’ and treat yourself at STAMcafé.
We recognize people by their silhouette, cities by their skyline. This exhibition challenges our often all too cursory glance at a city. STAM, in association with Museum Rotterdam.
Feel free to touch! A fun children’s trail that leads through every room in the museum. Children become merchants, craftspeople, architects or city trippers and participate in city life. They sell cloth, make coats of arms, face façades and work out routes.
STAM turned ten last year... time for a make-over for the permanent exhibition! Since the end of 2020 you can stroll through the new Story of Ghent.
