Photography

Urban photography is an important part of STAM’s collection. Photographs show how streets, squares, neighbourhoods and buildings in Ghent are changing. At the museum’s request, Brecht van Maele documented social housing in the city. Earlier, Michiel Hendryckx created photo reportages that are on display in the permanent exhibition. The collection also includes work by Karin Borghouts, Filip Dujardin, Carl De Keyzer, Sanne De Wilde and Ives Maes.
