When STAM arrived on the scene in 2010, city photography became an important part of its collection policy. The Ghent photographer Carl De Keyzer was commissioned to make a photo-reportage of Ghent for the new museum circuit. Other recent acquisitions include photographs by Marc De Blieck, Ives Maes, Karin Borghouts, Sanne De Wilde and Michiel Hendryckx.
