STA'M

in the treasure house

STAM boasts a seventeenth-century interior from the town hall. For years the city finances were managed in this magnificent treasury with its walls lined with gold leather. STAM had it restored and now uses it as a showcase for unusual objects from its collection. So once again this space merits the name ‘treasure house’.

The work of the silversmith, engraver and designer Pierre-Joseph-Jacques Tiberghien (Menen 1755 - Ghent 1810) is currently the focus of STAM’s treasure house.
