Cityscapes

Painted and drawn scenes of Ghent are an important part of the STAM collection. They illustrate the transformations the city’s streets, squares, neighbourhoods and outskirts have undergone through the centuries. The City Museum is particularly keen to add less frequently pictured parts of the city to its collection of cityscapes.
